457 Business (Long Stay) visas are the most commonly used program for employers to sponsor overseas workers to work in Australia on a temporary basis and may lead to permanent residency through the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS). There is a 3 stage process that must be undertaken in order to successfully sponsor a foreign worker:
- The business must be approved as a Standard Business Sponsor
- The nominated position(s) must be approved
- The visa applicant’s application must be approved.
